Hey Hey Hey! Long time no sprek! I went on a trip recently with our team mate Randy. I went to chaperone him and his fiance, Angela ((which means I got to baby sit two adults)) ;] Randy was going to Angela's parents house to go and get permission to marry her... which required me, a chaperone, for the sake of properness. Angela was worried I couldn't hack a four hour car trip in the country. I'm from Texas yo! We drive every where!!
Okay so, here are some *cough* alot *cough* pics for your viewing entertainment
This is the happy Brazilian road of bumpidy goodness. :D
This is Mae Mae Magarita aka the lady whose house we stayed at aka Angela's mother. She was the coolest, and the only one that let me take her picture.
These herbs were hanging up in her kitchen to dry so we could eat them. btw they grew everything we ate, which was like awershome!
Randy and I were thinking: If you stare at the sun long enough... you could go blind. Soooo we decided to see if it would work with a picture ((so don't stare at it for too long)) O_o
This is a picture of the stove they use, it is so cool! Because there was lots of fire in it. :D Imagine cooking with it! Muwhahahaha
This was their fabulous broom which actually swept rather well and smelled really good. ((yes, I smelled it))
This is cooking cashew (caju nut) They pick the fruit, pull off the little top thingy, then throw the top thingy in the fire! Then they pulled out the smoldering remains, cracked them open and then eat the nut.... isn't that neat?
This is Jaka (sp?) affectionately dubbed 'Mr. Ugly Fruit' (of spiky doom)
Oh! This is an alligator!!! Yes YES and alligator! Muwhahahaha It was fun, I have never been that close to an alligator before. It was exuberating even though it was a baby only the size of my arm... meh
Like, an awesome shot right behind their house... swampy goodness. :D
 
This tree was like so awesome, they are burning their land to clear the trees out, and this was like... the only survivor in this big huge field.
The trees in this area bleed. Like, red blood, it looks awesome! This is not a very good picture, but the best I have. There was one part of the forest were there was an axe covered in tree blood in this big area that had lots of blood all over it. Looked like somebody had been killed there. But it was just a mass murder of trees. O_O
I had to follow Angela and Randy everywhere and as most people know, it gets kind of boring when you are with a couple that are sweet talking in another language. So I found this old wine bottle and was taking pictures of it. I kinda like it.
This place right here so looks like it could come from the logo of Hidden Valley Ranch or so I remember <_<
